One of the hardest things I am having to do is find time to write. As you can probably tell by how long it has been since my last post. I was sure with Summer upon us I would have much more time to put into my writing. After all, many of my obligations ( checking homework, PTA) would not start up again for almost three months. That meant I would have extra time to work on my book, right? Its funny how your time gets filled up so quickly. I guess that should be expected when I work full-time have a husband and two kids to take care of as well as laundry, cleaning, cooking, running errands. (OK, I'll stop you get the point) So maybe I didn't have as much extra time as I thought, maybe I was crazy to think I could give myself a deadline and be done by said deadline.
As much as I should be worried that I will not meet my deadline, I am excited with the little progress I have made when I do find the time. Although it doesn't feel like much each time I start up again, the pages are filling up with the words and the story I have in my head. It is a wonderful thing to see something I am creating in black and white. It makes it all the more real. And while I haven't been able to find as much time as I would like, I have been able to find time. I am satisfied with spreading myself over the numerous responsibilities in my life and still finding some time to write.
